Refund Policy

Overview

As part of its mission, The Peace Lab strives to provide counseling services in the most professional way while keeping the needs and interests of its service recipients in mind. There may be instances when a recipient is dissatisfied with the services and requests a refund from The Peace Lab. These refund policies are outlined in this document and specify the conditions under which The Peace Lab may provide such refunds. We will not be able to accommodate any refund requests under any other circumstances.

Parties

The terms ‘You’ or ‘Your’ refer to You as a Service Recipient and the terms ‘The Peace Lab’, ‘We’, ‘Us’, ‘Company’, and ‘Our’ refer to The Peace Lab. Service Recipient refers to any person who has completed the payment process and booked a session with The Peace Lab.

Aspects applicable

Our failure to meet your expectations may give you the right to claim a refund in the following instances:

  • If the The Peace Lab is not able to allot you a counselor
  • If there is some mathematical error while billing the services you received.
  • In the event you find a defect in the services you received and the company can confirm your feedback following the investigation.

In case a dispute arises regarding the quality of services, the decision of The Peace Lab shall be final.

Any other issue, shall not be covered under The Peace Lab’s Refund Policy.

As described by You, if any shortcoming in Service can be corrected through remedial action by The Peace Lab, instead of refunding the money for services, it may choose to renew those services at its discretion.

Refunds Process

All refund requests must be made within one week of the date of purchase of our session packages. Beyond that no refund request we will be able to process.

Request for refund can be done by mailing us at hello@thepeacelab.com with your Details and grievance. In case your grievance is arising out of any quality issues – we will try our best to give you a corrective solution. Once the process is completed, we will communicate to You the extent of refund and a tentative date by which you can claim it. We try to respond to any request for refund within ten (15) working days of receipt of request.

  • Refund is entertained for unutilized sessions “only” and not for the ones that are already availed. Please make sure you actually need therapy before booking a session.
  • Packages that are purchased at discounted prices through promotional codes or any special benefits are not qualified for any kind of refunds

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

Generally It takes about 15 working days to process a refund; from the date a refund request is “approved”. Sometimes there can be some delay due to banking errors due to which the amount may not reflect in your account. In case you have any queries or need any information, please write us at hello@thepeacelab.com.

Grievance

If you have any grievance relating to the refund, please write to hello@thepeacelab.com.

Cancellation

In an appointment with a counselor, you are given their exclusive time and that time is blocked for you. Your absence is a disservice to other clients who could have benefited from that time.

Our sessions can be pre-booked in advance and can be rescheduled 24 hours prior to the scheduled time of the appointment.

Any request to reschedule within 24 hours of the appointment or failing to turn up is chargeable amounting to non-refundable cancellation of the session.

We provide full flexibility for timely rescheduling 24 hours prior to the appointment. Users have the option to reschedule booked appointments once beyond which they will have to take the session or cancel it with a deduction.
